The Itria Valley welcomes visitors with vineyards as far as the eye can see and expanses of millenary olive trees. Trees born from a scented red soil that offers the surrounding landscape a blend of wonderful colors. The perfect location for your outdoor Puglian workouts.
The Valley of Trulli, that extends between the Puglian provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, is an area rich in cultural and food and wine specialities.
Don’t miss Alberobello and its iconic trulli, named a Unesco World Heritage site in 1996. Its countryside is dotted with these typical dry stone huts with a conical roof. Just think of Cisternino, located in the so-called Murgia dei Trulli, considered, along with the nearby Locorotondo, among Italy’s most beautiful villages. The latter, called “Luogorotondo” till the middle of the eighteenth century, for the round shape of the town center. And then The White City, the only one whose valley overlooks the sea: Ostuni. Called this way because of its historical center, once entirely whitewashed. It may be because of the dazzling white constructions or the Mediterranean vegetation, but every town of the valley is surrounded by a magical, fairy-tale like atmosphere that will be the backdrop for your swimming, running or biking experience.
